The aim this provide a better guideline determining prognosis in with Short- and long-term survival were evaluated, Cox regression analysis identify clinical clinicopathologic variables usable predict survival. Intestinal displacements strangulations most frequently diagnosed causes Regarding surgically treated horses, 54% discharged 88% these still alive after 1 year. In comparison, 85% medically patients 93% Only 4.4% all survivors did not return expected level performance, 32% suffered from recurrent Duration colic signs, heart rate, intestinal motility, skin tenting, pain, gross appearance peritoneal fluid shown be significantly associated White blood cell count, packed volume, pH, color mucous membranes show any prognostic significance. Thus, appeared relevant predictors outcome
