ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT Alkaline salt stress, as a more diverse severely affects the growth and development of potato ( Solanum tuberosum L.) leads to yield reduction. Brassinosteroids have been shown regulate plant play an essential role under environmental stress. However, physiological responses by which brassinosteroids confer alkaline stress tolerance in remain unclear. We used ‘ Atlantic ’ experimental material. The effects 0.01, 0.1, 1 10 μmol·L −1 24‐epibrassinolide (EBR) on photosynthetic characteristics (300 mmol·L NaHCO 3 ) were studied. results showed that exogenous EBR increased antioxidant enzyme activities, content osmoregulatory substances decreased production peroxidation products leaves treatment improved accumulating pigments. This was manifested increase net rate, transpiration rate stomatal conductance, decrease intercellular carbon dioxide concentration. In addition, maximal quantum photosystem II photochemistry effective PSII ultimately yield. Potato tuber significantly 27.31% 29.17% T4 compared T1 2022 2023, respectively. Cluster correlation analyses further demonstrated beneficial physiology, conclusion, can enhance improving system photosynthesis.
