ABSTRACT
Porous calcium hexa‐aluminate ( CA 6 ) ceramics were in‐situ synthesized by heated CaCO 3 and α‐ Al 2 O in a NaCl ‐based salt at 1400°C for h, then characterized X ‐ray diffraction XRD ), scanning electron microscopy, SEM mercury porosimetry. The size morphology of the crystals pores gradually changed with increase addition raw material, indicating that molten not only provided liquid environment synthesis , but also generated considerable pores.
