ABSTRACT
Abstract Toxoplasma gondii is an opportunistic intracellular parasite and considered important aetiological factor in the process of abortion, especially as occurs early gestation. Chinese 1 strain T. a dominant genotype prevalent China. Although it known that foetal resorption triggered by RH attributable to immune mechanisms rather than its direct effect uterus, underlying mechanism abortion caused remains unclear. This study was designed investigate excreted–secreted antigens (ESA) on expression forkhead box transcription (Foxp3) pertains pregnancy abortion. ESA marked inhibition Foxp3 both vivo vitro . In addition, negatively modulated Smad2 Smad3 at posttranslational level. siRNA cooperated with further suppress level Foxp3. inhibitory partially abrogated overexpression Smad2, Smad4. Additionally, attenuated TGFßRII, whereas TGFßRII agonist could profoundly reversed decreased ESA. Collectively, findings suggested restricted inhibiting TGFßRII/Smad2/Smad3/Smad4 signalling, ultimately resulting
