ABSTRACT
Abstract Aim To assess the effectiveness of non‐incised papillae surgical approach (NIPSA) in periodontal reconstructive surgery combined intra‐suprabony defects. Materials and Methods Patients with deep defects treated NIPSA ( n = 20) were analysed. Defects enamel matrix derivative plus xenograft. Clinical outcomes assessed before at 12 months. Wound closure was one week post‐surgery. Supra‐alveolar attachment gain (SUPRA‐AG) recorded months Results Non‐incised showed significant improvements clinical (5.9 ± 2.38 mm; p < 0.001), recession reduction (0.25 0.44; 0.05) tip coronal displacement (0.4 0.5; 0.05). It also complete wound apical mucosal incision 85% cases, no interproximal tissue necrosis. SUPRA‐AG (1.9 1.74) a positive tendency, associated intrabony defect resolution. Conclusions promoted primary intention healing, stability space provision for optimal reconstruction, preserving supra‐alveolar soft integrity.
