ABSTRACT
Worldwide 10-20% of the population is tattooed. However, tattoo complications can occur, such as allergic reactions, infections, and manifestations autoimmune dermatoses. Despite growing popularity tattoos changes in ink composition over last decades, little known about these complications, its clinical aspects, pathomechanism, relative occurrence.The aim this article to describe types aspects dermatological occurrence underlying conditions.We performed a retrospective cohort study enrolling all patients with from Tattoo Clinic. were categorized into inflammatory neoplasms, or miscellaneous reactions correlated data.Of total 326 patients, 301 included 308 complications. The majority chronic: 91.9%. Allergic red chronic black (CIBTR) accounted for 50.2% 18.2%, respectively, Of CIBTR extracutaneous involvement was found 21.4%, including tattoo-associated uveitis (7.1%) systemic sarcoidosis (14.2%). 7.8%.Tattoos cause wide range that may start years after getting tattoo. most frequent are making relevant dermatologist. have high percentage multi-organ involvement, therefore, screening sarcoidosis, ocular advised.
