ABSTRACT
To lay the foundation for study of supply chain power, we power configurations at level interlocking dyads ( IPD s), viewing simultaneous effect upstream and downstream power. We build on four key constructs: dependence asymmetry (resource theory), joint (embeddedness perspective), type differential (based French & Raven, 1959), source asymmetry. examine research question what relationship is between s focal firm's operational performance, developing hypotheses based asymmetry, dependence, differential, theoretical s. A survey over 600 respondents in China was used to collect data firm perceptions with cluster analysis yielding eight Inferential revealed importance performance firm.
