ABSTRACT
Summary Studies show that morningness preference and subjective well‐being are positively related. However, little is known about potential factors may underpin this association. In the present study, we explored mediational role of general social support its facets (family, friends, significant other) in relationship between morningness–eveningness well‐being. The study was conducted with a sample 1,067 adults (51% women), mean ( SD , range) age 36.41 (9.95, 18–55) years. Our results corroborated earlier findings associated both support. Controlling for gender, obtained mediation effects, showing association might stem, at least part, from higher levels received by morning‐oriented individuals.
