ABSTRACT
This case series and literature review highlights the prevalence of scarring hair loss in children. A retrospective 29 pediatric cases from centers USA Chile showed that primary cicatricial alopecia was more common, with lichen planopilaris central centrifugal being most frequent diagnoses. Early detection children is essential to reduce progressive scarring.
