Some anorexia nervosa (AN) and significant weight loss present a normal pulse rate at admission, whereas others have severe bradycardia, suggesting that total not the most important determinant of bradycardia. The aims this study were to define prevalence as cause for hospital admission AN, evaluate correlations between known determinants average time required recover from after re-feeding.Ninety-nine hospitalized patients AN enrolled. Weight history, anthropometric, laboratory, electrocardiogram data collected discharge hospital. Multivariate analysis was performed detect bradycardia.Forty-eight percent patient admissions due (AN-B+ group). Patients group had higher maximum lifetime (P = 0.0045), greater premorbid 0.0011), more rapid 0.0001). showed recent independent predictor (R2 : 0.35, P normalized minimal gain 0.25 ± 0.18 kg/day 3-10 days. This confirms probably AN.
