ABSTRACT
SUMMARY In the present research, effect of indole‐3‐butyric acid ( IBA ) on growth, and production some primary secondary metabolites was studied in Nostoc linckia . this respect, algae cultures were supplied with 0, 0.01, 0.1, 1, 10, 100 μM for 14 days. at concentrations 10 induced algal growth expressed as fresh weight N. Treatment all stimulated heterocyst formation. addition, low (0.01, 1 μM) had a stimulatory chlorophyll carotenoids accumulation. contrast, higher accumulation phycocyanin, allophycocyanin, phycoerythrin treated algae. case, concentration more effective. A significant decrease protein content observed by 0.01 All caused sugar content, but lower application except increased oligosaccharide‐linked mycosporine‐like amino acids OS‐MAA s) content. Lower increasing s However decreased scytonemin These results indicated impact weight, formation, photosynthetic pigments
