Quality of life and its contributing factors in an elderly community‐dwelling population in Shanghai, China

We aimed to investigate the relationship between quality of life and factors that may influence it in an elderly community-dwelling population Shanghai.From August October 2014, individuals were enrolled from three randomly selected communities Shanghai. Participant information was collected responses a general questionnaire Lubben Social Network Scale-6, Cumulative Illness Rating Scale for Geriatrics, Patient Health Questionnaire, 12-item Short Form Survey. The influencing explored multivariate stepwise linear regression model.Physical mental component summary scores Shanghai 50.1 ± 10.1 47.3 7.9, respectively. Therefore, more attention should paid health this population.
