ABSTRACT
We aimed to investigate the relationship between quality of life and factors that may influence it in an elderly community-dwelling population Shanghai.From August October 2014, individuals were enrolled from three randomly selected communities Shanghai. Participant information was collected responses a general questionnaire Lubben Social Network Scale-6, Cumulative Illness Rating Scale for Geriatrics, Patient Health Questionnaire, 12-item Short Form Survey. The influencing explored multivariate stepwise linear regression model.Physical mental component summary scores Shanghai 50.1 ± 10.1 47.3 7.9, respectively. Physical rural area higher than those urban-rural intersection (a place where urban transitions are taking place) (52.32 9.81 vs 49.63 9.33, P < 0.05) 47.34 10.18, 0.05). Additionally, (52.63 9.28 48.43 9.42, 48.13 10.69, 0.05).Depression, self-care ability, medical care burden found be significantly associated with Shanghai, China. Therefore, more attention should paid health this population.
