ABSTRACT
Abstract Background & objectives People with hemophilia constitute a significant proportion of the population and an oral health care professional faces considerable challenge while treating them. This study aimed to assess dentition status as well fear dental treatment in patients compare it age‐matched healthy subjects. Patients methods single‐center, case‐control cross‐sectional was performed on 100 subjects controls. Oral recorded for all scored using simplified hygiene index (OHI‐S), plaque index, dmft/DMFT index. Results There were total 41 children 59 adults group 36 64 group. When compared observed that individuals had higher debris calculus scores which indicative poor orodental status. no difference DMFT among groups. Interpretation conclusions The hemophilics poorer when findings highlight need establishing interdisciplinary such individuals.
