ABSTRACT
Abstract Pulmonary Mycobacterium abscessus infection in cystic fibrosis (CF) patients is difficult to treat and considered a contra‐indication for lung transplantation most centers. We present four CF with chronic pulmonary M infection, whom was performed. Through intensive treatment before transplantation, we achieved control of the all but one patient. After mean 16 months follow up, 3 are doing well, without evidence local or disseminated recurrence. One patient died early post‐transplant due an unrelated cause. These findings support possibility favorable outcome infection.
