ABSTRACT
Experiments were performed to investigate the performance enhancement of single-phase flow and boiling heat transfer in 3D inner finned helical tubes. The tests for carried out tubes with a curvature 0.0663 length 1.15m, range Reynolds number examined varies from 1000 8500. In comparison smooth tube, experimental results two different fin geometry showed that resistance tube gains greater augmentation. Within measured number, average augmentation ratio are 71% 103%, compared 90% 140% resistance, respectively. was 0.0605 0.668m. Compared coefficient is increased by 40%∼120% under varied mass rate wall flux conditions, meanwhile, 18%∼119%.
