ABSTRACT
Cardiac amyloidosis is a disease process of abnormal amyloid fibril deposition in cardiac muscle that can be diagnosed by specific electrocardiographic and echocardiographic findings. We present the case patient with history who presented to emergency department (ED) shortness breath, was large pericardial effusion ultrasonography. The patient's myocardium exhibited granular, "sparkling" appearance increased echogenicity, typical for amyloidosis. discuss bedside ultrasound findings found this infiltrative cardiomyopathy, how they influenced ED management treatment plan patient.
