ABSTRACT
The objectives of this study were to estimate global uncertainty for patients with thoracic tumors treated in our center using the CyberKnife VSI after placement fiducial markers and compare findings standard CTV PTV margins used date. Datasets 16 (54 fractions) Synchrony Respiratory Tracking System analyzed retrospectively based on CT planning, tracking information, movement data generated saved logs files by system. For each patient, we all main sources assigned a value. We also calculated an expanded ensure robust estimation enable us determine position 95% points confidence level during treatment. Based compared general mar- gin criterion (5 mm three directions: superior/inferior [SI], anterior/posterior [AP], lateral [LAT]), 100% adequately covered LAT direction, as 94% SI AP directions. process patient patient. This individualized approach enabled unit results 5 margin.
