ABSTRACT
Objectives The mental health condition of care staff in Japan is becoming problematic. Older assistant workers are currently being employed to assist with their jobs and alleviate job burden. In this study, we aim examine how relates job-facilitating job-inhibiting explore that exhaustion.Methods Data from a mail survey geriatric services facilities were analyzed. Among answers obtained staff, 5,185 who reported working employ (over age 60) Emotional Exhaustion subscale Japanese Version Burnout Questionnaire was used as dependent variable. change due (improve, maintain/exacerbate) explored for nine contents.Results Care decrease total volume task (63.6%), less stress during daily tasks (39.8%), more concentration require expert knowledge (38.0%). results multiple regression analysis showed score low when decreased (β=-0.383, 95%CI=-0.719, -0.047), perceived (β=-0.432, 95%CI=-0.796, -0.068), required increased (β=-0.574, 95%CI=-0.937, -0.210), human relationships among improved (β=-0.871, 95%CI=-1.263, -0.480). Conversely, an increase requiring work regional personnel organizations (β=0.800, 95%CI=0.162, 1.437) associated high score.Conclusion related or these lower exhaustion. may risk burnout staff.
