ABSTRACT
The in vitro activities of six antimicrobial agents were tested against 162 mycoplasma strains eight species isolated from poultry and livestock at different geographic sites. Tiamulin was most active (MICs which 90% the isolates inhibited [MIC90s], 0.025 to 0.25 microg/ml); enrofloxacin danofloxacin had near equivalent (MIC90s, 0.05 1.0 microg/ml), but much more than flumequine 1 50 microg/ml). MIC90s tylosin oxytetracycline > 100 microg/ml microg/ml, respectively.
