ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT The antigen-specific primary activation of CD4 + T cells was studied in vivo by adoptive transfer ovalbumin-specific transgenic (KJ1-26 ) following intranasal immunization with recombinant Streptococcus gordonii . A strain S. expressing on its surface a model vaccine antigen fused to the ovalbumin (OVA) peptide from position 323 339 constructed and used study OVA-specific T-cell nasal mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (NALT), lymph nodes, spleens mice immunized route. strain, but not wild type, activated population NALT (89% KJ1-26 cells) just 3 days immunization. In cervical nodes spleen, percentage proliferating initially low, it reached peak at day 5 (90%). This clonal expansion after obtained live inactivated bacteria, indicates that is site priming.
