ABSTRACT
We cloned and characterized three genes from Aspergillus nidulans, designated brlA, abaA, wetA, whose activities are required to complete different stages of conidiophore development. Inactivation these causes major abnormalities in morphology prevents expression many unrelated, developmentally regulated genes, without affecting the nonregulated genes. The code for poly(A)+ RNAs that begin accumulate at times during conidiation. brlA- abaA-encoded specifically cells conidiophore. wetA-encoded RNA accumulates mature conidia. brlA gene abaA wetA whereas inactivation gene. Our results confirm genetic predictions as temporal spatial patterns demonstrate specified level accumulation.
