ABSTRACT
Salmonella is a global threat for public health, and pork one of the main sources human salmonellosis. However, complex epidemiology infection limits current control strategies aimed at reducing prevalence this in pigs. The present study analyzes first time impact gut microbiota pigs its shedding pattern naturally infected growing Microbiome (16S rRNA amplicon) analysis reveals that maturation microbiome could be key consideration with respect to limiting Indeed, seronegative animals had higher richness early after weaning, uninfected abundance strict anaerobes from class Clostridia , results which demonstrate fast transition suckling postweaning crucial protecting animals.
