ABSTRACT
A case-control study was conducted to test the hypothesis that paternal occupation is a risk factor for Wilms9 tumour in offspring. Occupations associated with exposure lead (Pb) and hydrocarbons were examined by computing odds ratios, all of which greater than unity but not statistically significant margin. When painters considered separately, children whose fathers had been so employed six times more likely develop other occupations. Like results Pb hydrocarbon related occupations, estimated relative did reach statistical significance. Although these data require cautious interpretation because relatively small number subjects, reported here are wholly consistent one previous
