ABSTRACT
<h3>Background</h3> Nintedanib and pirfenidone are antifibrotics approved for use in interstitial lung disease (ILD). Given their significant side effect (SE) burden, regular monitoring of patient adherence, tolerability liver function tests (LFTs) throughout treatment is essential. Our implementation the Pharmacy Workforce Development South (PWDS) Clinical Prioritisation accreditation<sup>1</sup> represents an innovative expansion responsibilities pharmacy technicians managing ongoing ILD patients prescribed outpatient clinic. <h3>Method</h3> From 04/12/2023-08/02/2024, 195 on were reviewed. These issues encompassed various themes, unrelated clinical symptoms (or peri-operative advice antifibrotics) (n=22), provision literature weight loss (n=10), queries e.g. rescue antibiotics interactions with new medications supplements (n=6), mental health support referrals (n=5), benefits allowances (n=2) trials (n=1). <h3>Conclusion</h3> outcomes highlight capability safely manage portion this setting.
