ABSTRACT
We propose a metal–insulator–metal (MIM) structure which consists of [Formula: see text]-shaped resonator and surface plasmon polariton (SPP) waveguide. The finite element method (FEM) is employed in the simulation. results show that this forms an optical pressure sensor. transmission spectra have redshift with increasing pressure, relation between wavelength shift linear. nanoscale sensor shows high sensitivity may potential applications biological biomedical engineering.
