ABSTRACT
To research the effects of properties silt particles on cavitating flow, silt-laden cavitation flow in one 3D nozzle is simulated. Silt mean diameters are 0.005 mm, 0.007 0.009 0.010 0.012 0.013 0.015 0.020 0.026 0.030 0.035 0.040 0.046 0.050 mm and 0.056 mm. concentrations vary from 1.0% to 10%. measure particles, vapor contents under pure water conditions calculated compared. Results show that first promote development then inhibit evolution with increase concentration. promotion scope decreases gradually inhibition span increases constantly diameter. Cavitation nuclei, vortices, slip velocity, virtual mass force Saffman lift have a closed relation particles. Vortices, viscosity abrasion deeply influence cavitation.
