ABSTRACT
Of all cancers, pancreatic cancer has a significantly low rate of survival, mostly due to lack early screening. Thus, once detected, is usually in later stages, reducing the likelihood full recovery. The most common treatment strategy chemotherapy, although several immunotherapeutic drugs show promising results extending patient’s lifespan. In this paper, we provide validated mathematical model for after fitting parameter values, such as tumor growth rate, inverse carrying capacity, activation and decay stellate cells, with use experimental data presented by Cioffi et al. cioffi2015inhibition For treatments chemotherapeutic drugs, Abraxane Gemcitabine, drug, Anti-CD47, modified accurately compared simulation not only correctly but also move forward other drug trials. Then, include stem which are known initiate tumors cause relapse post-chemotherapy, per cell hypothesis so that progression can be assessed based on phenomenon. addition, investigate optimal protocols. We find out effective dual therapy survival time when drugs. Moreover, study reveals dose more effectual than frequency injection account different scheduling same over week. could starting point shed light novel discoveries.
