ABSTRACT
We have investigated optical anisotropy of sum frequency generation (SFG) two cavity modes realized in a (113)B GaAs/AlAs coupled multilayer cavity. The SFG signals were measured by simultaneous excitation with an difference 3.3 THz using 100-fs laser pulses. peak intensity the signal was more than 400 times larger that second-harmonic from GaAs bulk substrate. Large depending on polarization angle observed strongly enhanced sample. anisotropic behavior well explained in-plane second-order nonlinear
