ABSTRACT
Many applications provide a form-like interface for requesting information: the user fills in some fields, submits form, and application presents corresponding results. Such procedure becomes burdensome if (1) must submit many different requests, example pursuing trial-and-error search, (2) results from one are to be used as inputs another, requiring transfer them by hand, or (3) wants compare results, but only request can seen at time. We describe how users reduce this burden creating custom interfaces using three mechanisms: clipping of input result elements existing form cells on spreadsheet; connecting these formulas, thus enabling between applications; cloning so that multiple requests handled side side. demonstrate prototype mechanisms, initially specialised handling Web applications, show it lets build new suit their individual needs.
