ABSTRACT
Culture is a phenomenon that shapes and conditions outcomes of human-computer interaction in very significant ways. The goal this study was to analyse the development field studies culture as part HCI research. To do so, systematic mapping review carried out analyzed articles from seven high profile journals conference proceedings 2010, 2016 2020. results were then systematically compared previous Kamppuri et al. [14], which covered time 1990 2005. analysis shows steady increase number consider culture. However, given importance phenomenon, 0.9% period 2005 1.9% present sample (2010, 2016-2020) inadequate. There also room for improvement regarding limited extent linked underpinning conceptual theoretical sources. If community wishes establish knowledge globally more relevant, concept needs be studied articulated much systematically.
