EMiRAs-Empathic Mixed Reality Agents

In recent years, there has been a growing body of research at the intersection Mixed Reality (MR), Empathic Computing (EC), and agent technologies. Despite this trend, unified theoretical framework to guide such remains elusive. This paper introduces concept Agents (EMiRAs), emerging from convergence Agent (EA), (MiRA), (EMR). We present Corporeal Presence Interactive Capacity (CPIC) matrix as tool for examining EMiRAs-related studies, enabling systematic exploration agents' embodiment environmental interaction capabilities. By conducting literature reviews organized within CPIC matrix, we investigate current landscape EMiRAs research. Additionally, discuss challenges opportunities inherent in developing EMiRAs. work contributes laying groundwork future advancements field by providing comprehensive analysis endeavors.
