ABSTRACT
In this work, the effect of a slight change in composition Al-Fe amorphous alloys (from Al 84 Fe 16 to 82 18 ) and substitution Y for (2 at.%) on their crystallization kinetics was studied. According X-ray diffraction analysis, powders , 2 with fully structure were formed after 100 h mechanical milling mixtures elemental powders. The behavior also studied by transmission electron microscopy. Upon heating up temperature first exothermic peak, α -Al crystals precipitated from matrix. During alloy, 6 intermetallic compound along crystals. Substitution at.% alloy made more complicated: -Al, Fe, 4 coexisted an phase. activation energies corresponding event calculated using Kissinger Ozawa methods. values obtained these two methods good agreement each other same trends changing observed.
