ABSTRACT
The parietal band is one of the muscle bands in right ventricle. This study investigated electrocardiographic and electrophysiological characteristics ablation outcome idiopathic ventricular arrhythmias (VAs) originating from band.We studied 14 patients with VA origins among 294 consecutive QRS morphologies VAs were characterized by a left bundle branch block inferior (n=12) or superior (n=2) axis pattern presence notch middle all cases, precordial transition at ≤lead V3 7 patients, slow onset 4 patients. During VAs, far-field electrogram an early activation was always recorded His region, regardless location origins. catheter ablation, mean number 10.4±7.4 radiofrequency applications duration 1099±1034 seconds delivered. Catheter successful 10 recurred during follow-up period 41±24 months. A change morphology observed spontaneously immediately after 4, time recurrence 2.Idiopathic rarely originated band. challenging, requiring large amount energy delivery for relatively high rate.
