ABSTRACT
Follow-up of transcatheter pulmonary valve replacement (TPVR) with the Melody has demonstrated good short-term and long-term outcomes, but there are no published studies focused on performance in Contegra bovine jugular vein conduit. This is a retrospective, multicenter study short- intermediate-term outcomes TPVR within conduit right ventricle to artery position. Data from 13 centers were included analysis. During period, 136 patients underwent 139 catheterizations for attempted median follow-up 3 years (1 day 9.1 years). Of patients, 117 successful TPVR. Two second The majority placement ≥1 stents before implantation. There was significant reduction peak pressure gradient acutely after implantation (39 versus 10 mm Hg; P<0.001). At most recent follow-up, maximum by echocardiogram remained significantly reduced relative prevalve implant measurements (65.9 27.3 incidence stent fracture (3.4%) infectious endocarditis (4.3%) both low. Serious adverse events occurred patients.Melody conduits safe effective can be performed wide range sizes preserved function low endocarditis.
