ABSTRACT
Background: Most endovascular stroke therapy studies and subsequent guidelines restrict intervention based on ASPECTS. A wide range of ASPECTS scores may be encountered in practice individual patient benefit realized even at low We examined large-scale data outcomes after therapy, stratified by baseline the Trevo Retriever Registry. Methods: The independent Imaging Core Lab Registry prospectively determines imaging acquired immediately prior to thrombectomy. regional involvement were analyzed with respect site arterial occlusion, effect time from symptom onset, co-morbidities clinical outcomes, strata. Results: Baseline was reviewed 426 subjects anterior circulation enrolled Registry, as July 2016. Mean age 68.8 ± 13.7 yrs, 20.9% > 80 years old. NIHSS median 15.0 (10.0, 19.0). Onset CT 3.8 (1.5, 9.0) hrs, 8.0 (7.0, 9.0), ranging 3-10. 0-7 occurred 118/426 (27.7%) subjects, including 39.0% ICA, 27.1% M1 16.9% M2/3 occlusions angiography. variables predicting included NIHSS, whereas score mildly associated final TICI2C reperfusion (r=0.24, p<0.001). Subsequent symptomatic ICH 1.7% versus 2.0% 8-10. distribution mRS 90 days strata 10 3 revealed a trend worse lower ASPECTS, yet good (mRS 0-2) 60.7% (ASPECTS 10), 55.3% (9), 60.2% (8), 54.9% (7), 55.1% (3-6). Conclusions: Discrete influence conducted routine around world, individuals still achieve reasonable outcomes.
