ABSTRACT
Introduction: Stroke is a leading cause of mortality and disability worldwide. It the fifth death in United States. We aimed determine from all causes, stroke, sample representative Argentinean population. Methods: EstEPA population-based study prevalence, incidence stroke its distribution by age, gender clinical subtype General Villegas county (pop. 32.500 inhab.), province Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mortality was obtained certificates issued between August 1 st 2015 July 31 2016. Further relevant information medical records, family primary physicians interviews.
