ABSTRACT
Paspalum cerradoense R.C. Oliveira & Valls, a new species from the “Chapada dos Veadeiros” region, in Cerrado biome, Brazil, is here described and illustrated. It included informal Notata group of Paspalum, because inflorescences with two distal conjugated racemes. The has chromosome number 2n=20, which agreement basic other group. As there are similarities between cerradoense, P. cromyorhizon, ionanthum, morphological anatomical characters these three compared. There at least 30 differences species, corroborate consistency their circumscriptions.
