Typifications and nomenclatural notes on Agarista (Ericaceae, Vaccinioideae, Lyonieae)

ABSTRACT
Thirteen names of Agarista are here typified as part the genus taxonomic revision. We studied protologues, type specimens, digital images, negative photos at F from lost specimens originally deposited B, and additional publications. Lectotypes designated for angustissima, Ag. ericoides, pulchella, pulchra, Andromeda neriifolia, An. oleifolia, pistrix, revoluta, Leucothoë ambigua var. longifolia, L. parvifolia, peduncularis, rivularis. Additionally, a neotypification is proposed name columbiana. neotype duplicates conserved in COL, E, F, G, HBG, K, NY, P US. epitypes pistrix (a heterotypic synonym subrotunda), parvifolia uleana) based on MBM, respectively. Comments made concerning correct authorship coriifolia. Clarifications about location material subrotunda. Lastly, update collection locality specimen oleifolia revealed first and, so far, only known record Tocantins State North Brazil.
