ABSTRACT
A study of Pardosa pontica (Thorell, 1875) in Iran indicates two distinct morphospecies. detailed comparison these morphospecies and types P. reveals that populations from Mazandaran, Golestan North Khorasan Provinces Balkan Welaýaty Turkmenistan belong to a newly described species, mirzakhaniae sp. n., western easternmost pontica. Although the differ colour, size spination, no molecular differences 16S rRNA COI were detected.
