ABSTRACT
The general aim of this study is to contribute and summarize knowledge the Bolivian fauna genus Anastrepha Schiner (Tephritidae) which includes species both ecological economic importance. In addition compiling data from literature, we report results fruit fly sampling using McPhail or multilure traps in Tropic Cochabamba region at private natural reserve Potrerillo del Guendá Santa Cruz de la Sierra, as well records various other sites based on specimens museum collections. Fifty-seven named three unnamed are recorded Bolivia. Distribution maps for all these provided. Numerous new department reported first Bolivia A. castanea Norrbom, dissimilis Stone, elegans Blanchard, haywardi macrura Hendel, montei Lima, punctata rosilloi Blanchard. Pacouria boliviensis (Markgr.) Chev. (Apocynaceae) a host plant woodleyi Norrbom & Korytkowski, Myrciaria floribunda (H. West ex Willd.) Berg (Myrtaceae) Pouteria glomerata (Miq.) Radlk. (Sapotaceae) plants fraterculus (Wiedemann). This distribution information will be useful monitor manage that damage crops
