Graveyards Angiosperm Diversity of Rajshahi City, Bangladesh with Emphasis on Medicinal Plants

ABSTRACT
Angiosperm diversity in the graveyards of Rajshahi city corporation area has been studied. A total 106 angiosperm species under 91 genera and 44 families were recorded. Of these, Magnoliopsida is represented by 96 82 40 while Liliopsida 10 4 families. Moraceae largest family 6 species, Arecaceae species. Habit analysis shows that herbs, shrubs, climbers trees are 27, 26, 9 respectively. Forty nine (49) medicinal plants have documented with their uses for cure more than 45 diseases, some these abscess, asthma, abortion, cough, cold, chicken pox, constipation, dysentery, diarrhea, diabetes, eczema, fever, fracture bone, headache, heart disease, itches, jaundice, menstrual paralysis, piles, skin snake-bite, sex problems, toothache, vomiting, worm, wound others.
