ABSTRACT
Summary: Early pregnancy is associated with a high risk of maternal and neonatal complications significant morbidity mortality, especially in developing countries. The objective was to assess analyze the causes mortality linked these early pregnancies. Methodology: This prospective descriptive study that took place from August 1, 2016 January 31, 2017 hospital Dakar. Included were newborns born mothers aged 19 under who gave birth maternity hospital. Results: 209 parturient collected out total 2073 (10.08%). average age 17.59 years. Thinness noted 7.3% overweight 19%. Pregnancy poorly followed 32.1%. most common obstetric threat premature delivery, rupture membranes (PRM), arterial hypertension preeclampsia. indications for Caesarean sections dominated by pelvic abnormalities (28.4%) PRM (11.4%). prematurity 39.1%, respiratory distress 12.72%, maternal-fetal infections 12.27% perinatal asphyxia 8.18%. Mortality 8.2%. number prenatal consultation less than 4 significantly deaths. Conclusion: Teenage source many complications, newborns. It necessary conduct communications campaigns order stem them.
