ABSTRACT
Elevated skull fracture unlike depressed is rare with few cases reported in the literature. Some have been from South-western part of Nigeria. The aim this report to present an unusual aetiology for compound elevated and highlight need proper imaging careful examination under anaesthesia identify any dura tear institute appropriate care. This a 2 fractures. first patient year old boy who sustained injury following contact rotating ceiling fan blade while he was being lifted up by his uncle. Whereas other patient, 45 man, had inflicted assault. Examination findings both patients revealed scalp laceration. no focal neurological deficit but second significant deficit. CT scan showed evidence tear. Both were worked surgery craniotomy, wound debridement, duroplasty primary closure. They doing well since discharge. In conclusion, making head downward pull produced young children. Early recognition treatment type would reduce morbidity mortality improve outcome.
