ABSTRACT
This study investigated whether filtering blebs can be evaluated using optical coherence tomography angiography (OCT-A) and compared vascularity parameters with conventional bleb grading systems.A total of 92 patients glaucoma, who underwent mitomycin C-augmented trabeculectomy, were enrolled in this study, eyes assessed total. The participants OCT-A external mode anterior segment photography for evaluation. For evaluation vascularity, a blinded observer carefully drew the area on original image semiautomated program that calculated color brightness densities selected area. A also classified grades vessels Indiana Bleb Appearance Grading Scale (IBAGS) Moorfields System (MBGS). IBAGS MBGS results. In addition, correlation between intraocular pressure (IOP) was assessed.Vessel density measured by demonstrated excellent inter- intraobserver reproducibility. positively correlated scores. There no difference accuracy when predicting IOP risk scores from or estimating net reclassification index.Bleb evaluate vessel showed to grading.Bleb measurements could potentially provide objective quantitative following trabeculectomy.
