ABSTRACT
Longitudinal torsional ultrasonic vibrations with different longitudinal ratios [Formula: see text] were introduced into the extrusion tapping process to explore effects of in vibration directions on small blind holes Ti-6Al-4V. First, motion trajectory model (LT-UVET) was established, and intermittent separation characteristics edge teeth during LT-UVET analyzed. In addition, finite element simulation used analyze stress torque text]. The results show that effective at are reduced compared conventional (CET). When direction coincided thread ([Formula: = 0.08), lowest. A experiment platform built two tools aspect conduct experiments. Experimental is significantly lower than CET. Among them, when 0.08, effect reduction more obvious. can also promote metal flow forming, reduce material accumulation, improve surface integrity.
