Educating patients is a primary responsibility of all nurses; however, because time constraints and staff shortages, pediatric oncology nurses are often unable to adequately prepare for cancer treatment. Instead, frequently rely on the Internet as source information about cancer, some which can be outdated inaccurate. Adolescents regard valuable health it easily accessible, less threatening, confidential.
