ABSTRACT
Chemotherapy may cause neuromuscular impairments that can have life-long effects. The Stoplight Program (SLP) was developed as a proactive physical therapy (PT) intervention directed at in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). In this program evaluation, we assessed the feasibility of SLP delivered part standard care and identified body function activity patterns patients who received intervention. Children ages 1 to 22 years, diagnosed ALL, an assessment by therapist usual care. used 3 levels categorize impairment intensity PT. Of (n = 135) screened, 46% completed 5 visits 32% met discharge criteria. At initial assessment, years 67% 6 had abnormal motor function. Those completing tested within healthy norms. Research is needed on variables influence adherence PT range functional limitations population.
