Sustainable Cleft Care Through Education: The First Simulation-Based Comprehensive Workshop in the Middle East and North Africa Region

ABSTRACT
To describe the conduct of first multidisciplinary simulation-based workshop in Middle East/North Africa region and evaluate participant satisfaction.Cross-sectional survey-based evaluation.Educational comprehensive cleft care workshop.Total 93 participants from over 20 countries.Three-day educational workshop.Number participants, number stratified by specialty, satisfaction with workshop, staff, staff specialty.The included countries. The response rate was 47.3%, reported high all aspects workshop. All they would recommend it to colleagues (100.0%) participate again (100.0%). No significant difference detected based on specialty or years experience. majority were unaware other practitioners their countries (68.2%).Multidisciplinary workshops are well received developing countries, serve as a platform for intellectual exchange, only possible through strong collaborations. Advocates international surgery education should translate these successes regional global arena order contribute sustainable education.
