Geography of Methodological Issues in Research with Children

ABSTRACT
Over the past decade, there has been an increasing interest in methodologies used research with children. Geographers have contributed to growing body of that highlights children are not simply passive objects dependent on adults, but competent social actors make sense and actively contribute their environment. The trend conceptualize as profound implications for geographical children, most notably development more `inclusive' participatory agendas children-centred methodologies. In this article, we draw upon two ongoing postgraduate projects discuss our experiences adopting such innovative practices particular, focus contribution a specifically approach can wider interdisciplinary debates about research.
