ABSTRACT
The Y3Fe5O12 (YIG) nanopowders were synthesised at different pH using co-precipitation method. effect of on the phase formation YIG is characterised XRD, TEM, FTIR and TG/DTA. From Scherer formula, particle sizes powders found to be 13, 19 28 nm for = 10, 11 12 respectively. It that as solution increase size also increases. clear from TG/DTA curves increasing weight losses small. sintered 600, 700, 800 900°C 5 h conventional sintering completed 800°C/5 which correlated with average grain samples ∼161 nm. high values Ms 23 emu g−1 Hc 22 Oe recorded sample 900°C.
